Dale pulled his first Komatsu D65 engine in 1994 on a highway widening job outside Bakersfield. Since then he's rebuilt more PC360 and PC490 powertrains than he can count — cracked blocks, spun mains, seized turbos — nothing on a Komatsu surprises him anymore. Fleet managers call Dale first because he diagnoses over the phone in under four minutes.

Renata rebuilt her first hydraulic pump at nineteen on her uncle's backhoe in Visalia. She went on to certify through Parker Hannifin and spent three years doing warranty work for a Cat dealer before joining Torque. She now handles all hydraulic diagnostics in-house — from failing swing motors to blown main control valves — and runs a flow bench that most dealers don't carry.
